M-I-C-K-E-Y

Woo Hoo! Did we have fun, or what?! Here are some pictures from our big adventures...we still aren't home but my bed is calling my name and we will be back in it tomorrow night; I'll post more pictures then. Enjoy these for now!
Four parks in three days...

We spent a large part of our time searching for
characters and getting autographs.

She is the best big sister...good thing I am the baby of the family because I don't think I could have shared my Mickey Mouse ice cream!

Great Grandpa and Aunt Judy joined for a couple days of fun...the best tour guides ever and I know Grandpa was thrilled to FINALLY meet the princesses...pics of that encounter coming soon!

Of course, we met the mouse...THREE times!

Sleepy Sam...

...and sleepy everyone. We met ducks, bears, the Goofy, saw musicals, parades, danced in the streets with Chip and Dale, ate dinner with Cinderella, went on a safari, bought Minnie Princess ears, swam in the Hippy Dippy Pool and so much more. I can't imagine why we'd be sleepy! I need a vacation.

our friends are waiting...

...and we can't wait! We'll leave tomorrow morning at around 4 am. Hopefully we'll be able to sleep tonight...I'm talking about me and Dave here. We're all packed and ready to go! Let the fun begin!

famous

This picture was on the front page of the Life Section of the Brunswick News today. Aren't we cute? It was an article about being a mom of pre-schoolers...because I'm such an expert. This is not our first brush with fame in the newspaper--I do like when they think of us though. I guess they know where they can find an opinion about something (really anything).
Just get the name of the store right! :)

much needed friend time

We took an unexpected trip up to the Atlanta area this weekend to visit some old friends...yes I mean old! :) just kidding girls! Our Stacie has recently moved back to this side of the pond from London and we are thrilled to have her and her family in our time zone. We all met at Erin's house for a much needed visit! Seven kids ages 5 and under...FUN!
Thanks to Erin and especially Alex for letting us crash your world and house...

Reilly-Kate took our picture because there is never
any record that we were actually together.

Catilyn was so good with all the little ones!

Sam and Faith had lots in common...the same hairdresser,
the love of pacifiers, and they speak the same language!

These are all the little ones (minus Malichi, he wasn't too thrilled with the picture taking). I know I'm a bit biased, but we really have some great kids! Two days of all being together in one house...it was very fun and everyone got along well and us mommies got a much-needed visit----even if we did stay up a little late! Love you girls...lets do it again soon.
The beach is calling and Dave can't wait! :)

valentine fairy

We made cookies and Valentines and delivered them to all our friends at work today. RK worked very hard...this after her "Big Celebration" at school and we're having a live remote from a radio station here at the store this afternoon. I think she'll sleep well tonight!

open house

Tonight was RK's Open House at her school. She goes to the
Christian Montessori School and LOVES it.
She got to pick her 3 favorite things to show me and Dave...

First up was the Cylinder Block

Followed by the Button Frame

and last but not least, Spooning.
I know these things seem a little strange...where are the paintings and the letter coloring? Don't worry they do that too. In a Montessori school they develop Life Skills and work a lot on fine motor skills to prepare for learning to write. Its pretty cool theories if you aren't familiar. We've been very happy and most importantly, RK is very proud of all she is learning.

its Christmas still!

Ok, I know there hasn't been pictures of cute kids in quite awhile and I promise that I will post some next time but Santa came to our house this week so I wanted to share. Mom and Dad gave us a new stove for Christmas and we just got around to actually going and buying it...
Out with the old...I mean really old.

Behind it was enough dog hair to make a whole other dog and 9, count 'em, NINE bouncy balls.

In with the new! I have made perfect cookies and a yummy pizza so far. Thank you so much mom and dad! Yes, the wheels are turning to get the rest of the kitchen up to par...
No, Dave, not now...don't you know we have to pay off debt first? :)

If you live locally, make sure you shop at Coastal Appliances! They deliver, take away the old, set the clock on the stove, and ---if by chance the old stove falls down in the driveway and smashes the window all over---they'll sweep for a good 20 minutes to make sure all the glass is gone...they were great! If you don't live locally, make sure you support your mom & pop stores!

OK, I'm off my soapbox...
