best wife

Last weekend the kids and I took a roadtrip up to Arcade, GA to visit Gammy and Pappy and go to Aunt Sandy's Baby Shower. Daddy stayed home to run in a 5K race and take some time for himself--hence the reason that I am the best wife. :) We really had a good time and Dave did a lot of housework so I think I got the better end of the deal...

Sam was in love with the bouncy horse that he could ride anytime he wanted.

Of course, he loved the real thing even more and felt very important

because he was in charge of feeding the horses in the barn.

My sister-in-law Sandy is expecting her 1st child in FOUR (!) weeks. We are very excited about our little neice's arrival and, thankfully, Sandy let me add my little touch to Beckett's already adorable nursery. (forgive my little phone camera...no, she did not paint the walls a weird orangey color...taupe, purple, pink, chocolate brown---its lovely!)

Though the weather was cold and rainy...we had a great

time and I think Pappy and Gammy did, too!
