Go Daddy Go!

My husband is the motivated competitive type. I know, inspiring yet a little annoying. He decided not even a year ago that he likes to run. He jumped right in and started training for a 10K in October in Epcot...he did great and has set his sights on the 15K in Jacksonville in March.

Last weekend was the Sidney Lanier Bridge Run 5K. Small potatoes for him now. :) Its the tallest bridge in GA and for a Brunswick guy who isn't used to hills, he ran it in the same time he would have done it flat. Pretty impressive!

All of his cheerleaders were there to greet him at the end!
I kid him a lot about his running and I may not be thrilled everytime he leaves the house to go train...but every race we've gone to I must admit that I get teary-eyed as he comes across the finish line. He keeps setting a goal and training for it and meeting it. That is something to be proud of...and I am certainly proud of him! This weekend---a 5K back at Disney!
