halloween fun

We love Halloween in the Davis house! I was so excited that it fell on a Sunday this year...we invited our neighborhood buddies over for a cookout
before the trick or treating fun.

I couldn't believe it but this year we went away from the whole princess thing for a while and RK decided that she wanted to be a Kitty. She was super excited about her tail and ears...no worries about leaving princesses entirely. The night before we had a party to go to and she was Snow White...thank goodness...I was worried that we were moving on
to something new (read with a sarcastic tone).

Luckily, we can always count on Sam to be our Super Hero! This year we were "Bat Sam"!! He had a great mask and cape but they really never lasted very long... :)

These yummy creations were made before we hit the streets to collect some candy. Nothing beats a cupcake contest...then we were off to get what we really needed---more sugar!
Every year, on Halloween, I am reminded just how much I love the neighborhood we live in and our fabulous neighbors...we are so lucky to be in this place...
