new website

If you've ever built a website then you know how much time it takes. Computers are not my gift. I learn as I need to. Years ago I forced myself to learn how to build a website because there is really no way to survive in this world without a website for your business...no choice. So I did. And it served its purpose. Gave people information, some cute pictures and gave us a presence. I've kept it updated for 5+ years but was never really thrilled with its look or feel.

Last year at our annual CCSA Pottery Convention I was inspired to create a new website. I knew what I wanted. It was in my head. Now how do I get it out so others can see it, too?

So, in September, I started working on the new site. Just launched it this week. Finally, color me happy has a website that feels happy and colorful---novel idea, I know. I hope that it makes people feel like they are invited to come to our studio and that its a place that they WANT to be. Fun and friendly.

I must admit that I am a wee bit proud. I'm kinda impressed with myself. I mean 5 1/2 years ago we had owned our domain name for a year and done nothing with it because I had no idea where to begin...
