new bathroom

Well we've moved to the bathroom. I've had a plan brewing in my head for months about how to make the kids' bathroom better. This weekend we jumped in. Team Davis is going to work together to create a functional, clean, pretty space for our kids to use!

This is the official "before" shot...

This is what happened after the best husband in the whole wide world had busted out all the tile, taken out the old toilet, and removed the cabinet and sink (and back splash that apparently really liked holding onto part of the wall).

And, for now, this is the "after" shot. Why, yes, we are missing some very vital parts that most people enjoy as part of a restroom...We've got those parts...they are in our Living Room. And that is where they will stay for a bit longer. This is the state that the new bathroom will stay in until the plumber and tile guys can get here. We know when we are in over our heads...its now.

*don't worry...if you do come over before this fiasco is taken care of, we have another loo available for use. :)
