art show

We've started offering something new at color me happy. Canvas Painting. We've done it in Summer Camp for a couple years and some kids classes so this summer we've added it to our everyday line up.

Some we have ready to go with black-lined drawings that I do before hand...others are just blank. My kids have loved painting decor for their bedrooms.






So far, in Sam's series, he has painted this Rocket Ship and a Train. I asked him what he wants to for his third and he looked at me without hesitation and said, "An elevator." He was very sure of himself---that is a mode of transportation that he enjoys...now if I can just figure out how to draw that for him...
