I've never actually decorated for Halloween. I've wanted to. Every year. But alas, I have not. until this year. To be honest, I had a totally different plan. I ordered a new cartridge for my Cricut to make fun Halloween shapes. They were out of stock. Boo. No pun intended... So I had to change my plans.

I went to our local habitat for humanity store to look for supplies for another project---more on that later. While I was there, I found a pile of cabinet doors. For $2 a piece. What?! I was inspired...



I sanded them down...



Found cheap labor to help me put a couple coats of primer on...

Next, paints & my Pinterest Boards to find my spooky pins...

Add a few canvases on top and some spiders from the bargain bin at Target and voila! I don't think it will win any awards for decor but hopefully my kids will remember how we decorated and had fun for holidays...
