Good Lord...has it really been since September since I posted last?! Well, I certainly hope you weren't holding your breath in anticipation. :)
Well, here we are in the throws of the holiday season. Life is good in the Davis household. We finished up our soccer season with Sam...made some new friends along the way so that was nice. RK is still enjoying her dance class---we had our "Parent Observation" week and she was great, of course. I was one proud mama.
Thanksgiving came and went and we were very thankful to have sweet time with sweet friends/family. Tara and Ben came down from Maryland and that is always a lovely gift. We had a fabulously busy Black Friday at color me happy with friendly fun customers. The best part about this year? Mom and I didn't have to pull the lovely 5:30 am - 8:00 pm shift by ourselves. WE HAVE FANTASTIC EMPLOYEES!! I left at the super-early hour of 1 pm...aaawww...
Christmas is coming soon and we've enjoyed festivities at the store including Santa and field trips and groups and families. I must say that Christmas is very fun when you have a 6 and a 4 year old in the house. Our elf "Faufer" is back this year and every morning starts with the great search for him. They are loving deciding what to get each other for Christmas and they also loved buying gifts for other kids their ages that may not have as much...sweet.
I know with how long its been since I've posted, I should have lots of pictures of our different fun...sorry. If I try to organize and post all the pics they have to be in the right order and which ones are the cutest? and on and on...I do have to work at some point. So I've opted to show you a little craftiness I've been enjoying. Maybe there will be an opportunity to sell some similar items in the future? Who knows what 2012 will bring?
Anywho, there...you can breathe. You've been brought up to speed on our fam. Big surprise we didn't do Christmas cards AGAIN this year. My goal is to have at least one by the time the kids are 15... :) not happening anytime soon.
