a good week...

So I had another blog brewing in my head but then we got some news yesterday so I decided to add another...don't worry readers!! (all 3 of you) I'll get back to the other blog another day soon...

OK so to celebrate all that happened this week we have to return to a few years ago...



In 2007 my super smart husband graduated with his Masters Degree from the University of West GA. He had worked for 4 years to get this degree and I was so proud...Just as a side note...my Dad made the 5 1/2 hour trip up just to be there for the ceremony and turn around and drive back to Brunswick to go to work. He couldn't have been prouder and it meant a lot to have him there. Two other small side notes--look how cute sweet baby Reilly-Kate was!! An even "smaller" side note---that bumpy belly is tiny Sam still cooking---time flies.

Anywho, after earning his degree he still had a long road ahead. A little over 3 years of earning enough hours and getting enough supervision to be fully licensed by the state of GA. Dedicated is an understatement...he worked hard and today we got word that he is officially licensed by our great state.



This happened the same week that he completed another triumph that not many people can claim. He ran his 1st Marathon!! I am so proud again...I'm proud of Ben, too. :)

So after 7 years of school and work and supervision and over 300 miles run in training, I can say that I am married to an official Licensed Professional Counselor and Marathon Man...PLUS, he's good-lookin', too!!
