spring has sprung

and alas, apparently I'd forgotten about the blog...sorry. The weather around here has been PERFECT lately and I would love to use that as the excuse and say that we've been out enjoying it but that would be a lie. Our lives have been filled with the same ol' same ol'...school, work, church ativities...with a sprinkling of backyard playing/back porch sitting, a little flower planting (more on that soon...), LOTS of leaf raking---I know, its SPRING right?! Sheesh...all the leaves in all of Glynn County end up in our yard...anywho...



Here is a little sampling of our spring time fun. Yes, Sam got a major haircut via Daddy. It is growing...it used to be REALLY short. Sheesh, again.



We were excited that Uncle Sean came for a quick visit this week! I'm sure he got his fill of loud-ness and non-stop talking (and the kids, too). We love seeing him and we're excited because we'll be traveling up to the ATL in about a week to visit him again...ready or not!

In other news, our long-awaited new hardwood floors will be getting installed NEXT WEEK!!! I am beyond excited...that also means that this weekend is filled with alot of prep work...but that is fine because that means our funky carpet is leaving soon!! YAY!!!
