ordinary time

So yesterday was one of those days...stressful, to say the least. Really. Stressful. We are getting ready for Summer Camps (training a staff to run it---never done that and I'm not good at letting go), Sam is out of school (which I am thrilled about but it takes away my alone work time), plus I still have to run my business...seems silly when I say it out loud but y'all know what I mean...one of those days...
Hubs had a playdate with a good friend after work so I was on my own for the evening with the kiddos...early night it was! After sitting on the couch for a bit in the quiet, awwwww, I went to check on Sam...this is what I found.

"I want to be blue, Mommy!"

After a day like I had my normal reaction would have been tears...mine, then his. Not last night. I laughed. Put him in the tub and let him splash water all over. This is life. This is whats important. This made my day better.
