pepsi

A few years ago my Dad's car got "stolen". I use the quotes because I really don't think it can be considered stolen since my Dad left his doors unlocked, his windows down and his keys in it...see? It was "stolen".

But boy was he mad...of course, he had left his wallet in the glove compartment, too. I'm sure he was really mad at himself...he had actually lived many years leaving his car just like he did that day with no consequence...not that day.

A few days later the police actually found his car. With his wallet and everything still in it. Then the story became funny.

The best part? My Dad had a case of Pepsi in the back of the car and he just couldn't understand why the people didn't at least take that. I told him for the thousandth time that NOBODY LIKES PEPSI!! Even if its FREE! :)

I always made fun of him for drinking Pepsi. He couldn't help it really. He was a Yankee after all. We always kept some at our house for when he came to visit. It was always guaranteed to be here for him...we knew we weren't drinking it. We're Coke people.

I wore this shirt today. Today would have been my Daddy's 61st birthday. I know I made him giggle...Happy Birthday Daddy.
